When David fought Goliath do you think he was worried about his size. No, he knew who was backing him up. He was confident in the size of his God. He said,"Goliath, you may be big, but my God is bigger!"(1 Samuel 17:45-46a).
Walk like sons and daughters of the King. Walk with power, authority and Might. The same power that raised Christ from the dead, lives on the inside of you (Romans 8:11). He who is in me, is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Those who diligently seek Me, will find Me (Proverbs 8:17). We don't serve a passive God, he expects us to be diligent about our faith. The Bible says, those who will not work, shall not eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10). You will surely see what your hands have worked for. You will be happy, and it will go well for you (Psalm 128:2). As much as God encourages hard work in the Bible, he also says there is a time to rest, and a time to dance and sing. Finding the balance and rhythm of your life is important.
An all knowing, loving, caring God would not only want His warriors trained for the fight. I believe he would want them rested, refreshed in the spirit, and refined in the word. Wise and intelligent men and women are being called up for duty. Even the reserves are being deployed. Make sure you are in it, to win it. Make sure every soul you encounter, is redeemed by the blood of Jesus. The enemy will not fight fair, so never lay your armor down. Take up your breast plate of righteousness, your girdle of truth, sandals of peace, the shield of faith which stops all firey darts of the enemy. Pick up the sword of the spirit, the word of God and use it against all the forces of evil (Ephesians 6:15). The light of God is breaking forth for all the world to see. My foot soldiers have already invaded the enemies camp.
Taking back souls, one by one and two by two. Already bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus (Acts 17:11). Their redemption is at hand, Jesus already paid the price in full. He has come to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), His blood has ransomed you and me!....
