I am like an anchor to your soul, to keep the storms of life from dragging you out to sea. When you feel you’re in the deep waters, I am here to pull you safely to shore.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2). I have come to set the captives free, I rejoice at the sound of chains falling. There is a prison break coming, for every person held in bondage by the enemy. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken.
At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose (Acts 16:26). And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force (Matthew 11:12). If I have anointed you to be a warrior, why would you be anything else! If you are driven by a desire to defeat the enemy, why would you quit now. I tell you, “Go and check again!” Go and look toward the sea, he told his servant. And he went up and looked.
There is nothing there, he said, seven times Elijah said, “Go back” (1 Kings 18:43). The seventh time the servant reported, a cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea (1 Kings 18:44). Go now before the rain will stop you, go now before your flesh gives up. Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:41). I hear, crucifixion day is coming.
Not for Christ, but your own unruly flesh. Where the Spirit leads there is freedom. And with Christ in charge, you will lead them. Moses led the Israelites thru the wilderness, and with faith and a staff; God parted the Red Sea. Pick up your shield of faith and your sword. Be willing to walk through the wilderness, your life could be the guiding light of HOPE for many. Who will lead your friends and family forth from the darkness?
If not you, then who...The Lord says, I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you (Psalm 32:8). I command you this day, “Lead my people home!” Therefore, my people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest (Isaiah 32:18). Lord you are my secure foundation, all other ground is sinking sand....
