God is calling us to look deeper in this season. To hold on to what he has promised us. Stop settling for Ishmael‘s when he has promised us an Isaac. Stop aborting the Dream by taking matters into your own hands. But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year (Genesis 17:21).
Do you want the look-alike, or the real deal! Jesus replied, all who love me will do what I say. My father will love them and we will come and make our home with each of them (John 14:23). Wait upon the Lord, and he will deliver what he promised. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord (Psalm 27:14). Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him and he will act (Psalm 37:5). And my promises are “Yes” and “Amen”, it is already done.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours (Mark 11:24). Are we giving up and throwing in the towel before we see the physical manifestation of what we are believing for in prayer. Have we given up on the promise in our heart. I am here to encourage you, get your fire back, your zeal, steadfastness, and determination. When the enemy throws up a roadblock, look for a Detour.
Whether you have to go up and over, around, or through; just don’t give up your promise! It is closer than you think. I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). They replied, believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved— you and your household (Acts 16:31). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will give you the desires of your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).
This is a widely quoted verse, but do we really believe in it. Are we really fully dependent on Jesus. Completely surrendered and laid down at the altar. Full of mercy and grace, mature saints leading the way for others. Ask yourself this question: could I give it all up tomorrow for Jesus? The answer could be a good indicator on how long you will wait for your dreams to come to pass! Keep your faith strong, your hope alive, and your prayers never ending....
