Ask Him Anything by John Hagee
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
If the Bible had only this one verse, it would be the best book on the planet earth. This verse says that you can talk to God, ask Him anything at all--in faith believing--and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Prayer is the greatest adventure we mortals could ever have, and among our most powerful weapons. When you discover the awesome power that God has given you with this industrial-strength tool, your prayer life will never cease.
In ancient Israel, the high priest would petition to the Lord on behalf of the people. But the veil was torn in two from top to bottom as Jesus cried out, "It is finished!" With those three powerful words, we were each given the opportunity to approach God the Father ourselves. Think about the power behind that option...speaking directly to the Creator of all things.
As you walk through the highways and byways of life, remember that God is ready, willing, and able to meet your every need. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and numbers the hairs on your head. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Call on His holy name and get ready to shake the foundations of the earth!
