By natural birth you are a human being and by spiritual birth you are a child of God. You have become righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and a priesthood!
When you see a shadow it tells you there is a substance near by. Everything you see in the old testament are essentially shadows which indicate the substance of Christ. There is always a connection between the shadow and the substance.
