Stand Strong Against the Adversary by Dr. Charles Stanley

For a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

It is true that whenever you do anything for God, the adversary will oppose you. But you must remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (see 1 John 4:4).

You should not have to spend your life struggling against Satan in order to serve God. Instead of wearing yourself out trying to fight spiritual enemies, you should learn to stand strong in the authority given to you by Jesus.

The best way to overcome Satan and his demons is simply to stay in God’s will by obeying His Word and God will work things out according to His divine plan and purpose.

Prayer Starter:
Thank You, Lord, that You’re greater than the enemy. As I trust You and obey Your Word, I know that You will fight my battles. Help me to stand strong during difficult times, knowing You are always with me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
