Psalm 107:29
He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.
Sometimes, what looks like a disappointment is simply God getting us into a position to see His greatness!
Have you recently been through something that felt like a setback? You thought things were going along just fine, and all of a sudden, a black thundercloud just unloaded on your day. Lightning seemed to strike out of nowhere. The bad news pelted you like hail at every possible angle.
Have faith in God! Today’s storm is going to bring tomorrow’s rainbow. Do not fear! The SON who shines brightest after the darkest storm has overcome the world.
How can you enjoy walking in divine health until you have understood what it means to be sick? How can you understand how great freedom is until you have been bound? How can you appreciate true joy without knowing the aching pain of tragedy?
Today, God can free you from the heavy weight on your heart. Maybe this is something you have been dealing with for years. Just ask God to set you free—to calm the waters of your stirred-up soul—and have faith that the answer is already on the way! Our God can—and will!
