The Lord showed me a vision this morning of a woman peering into a very large eye. I then heard the phrase, “The eyes are the window to the soul.”
Some have thought to peer into another’s eyes to see into their souls. Truly I tell you, only the Lord can discern the thoughts and intents of a man’s heart. My children, even with the best gifts, only see in part.
Then hear in Heaven your dwelling place and forgive and act and render to each whose heart you know, according to all his ways (for you, you only, know the hearts of all the children of mankind.) (1 Kings 8:39). In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Besides imparting the great Comforter to us, the Holy Spirit. The Lord left us his word, to guide us along our journey in life.
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to the dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). The Lord asked me to give a gentle reminder this morning. Your eyes are most definitely windows, but they are gates to be guarded. So by prayer and supplication, post a sentry there. Be careful what you watch and listen to. As a man reasons in his heart, so is he. And out of the heart flow all the issues of life.
And without hesitation and with consistency always call on the maker of heaven and earth. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us, day and night. The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases (Proverbs 21:1). Many of us are coming into seasons of stepping out for the Lord. Advancements and settlements are being released, and deep intercession has been undertaken for a greater discernment and clarity. The Lord is pulling the remnant into deeper intimacy, and perfecting all that is within them. If you seek Him, you will find Him, and come to know his heart. Only those walking at a level of deep consecration will withstand the weight of the glory.
The Lord is calling you to come sit on the beach with him and the fisherman. To break bread and have breakfast and let him ask you this question. “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” If your answer is, “Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Then the Lord says, “Take care of and feed my sheep.”....
