As I close my eyes, I saw a small child come clomping up to me in combat boots that were way too big.

The Father said, “My children must come to me in child like faith, but in all other ways must become adults, men, women, soldiers.”

Ready for strong meat, not milk. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God‘s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food (Hebrews 5:12). The Lord is beckoning you to grow up, becoming mature saints, lacking in nothing.

Able to easily fill out your combat boots and step onto the front lines. To encourage the saints, to rescue the fallen, to provide water for a weary traveler. You should have living water in your belly and fire in your mouth. You shall have the conviction of a five star general. You shall acquire orders from your chief and commander, and then go after them with a dogged determination. You shall rally the troops and overtake your enemy.

Your prayers shall be precision arrows and your marksman shall advance with wisdom and knowledge. You will be an elite special ops force that has overtaken the darkness. So the Lord ask this question. Do you know what you wanna be when you grow up, and are you willing to grow up? Are you willing to give it all for the one who gave it all for you. Can you rest in the knowledge, there is only one scripture worth arguing over-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believers in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

There is something I see from time to time on signs and bumper stickers and I think it still holds true today. Only to defining forces have ever offered to die for you JESUS CHRIST and the American soldier, One died for your soul and the other died for your freedom....So I ask you this, Soldier of Christ. Will you freely lay down your life?

And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death (Revelation 12:11)....
