Let us consider the book of prophet Isaiah 42 verse 16
“I will bring the blind by a way that they have not known; I will make 'darkness light' before them, and crooked things straight.
These things 'I will do' unto them, and not forsake them. “ Isa 42:16
Who is blind, but my servant? Or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? Vs 17
This teaches that there are times in the dealings of God when you won't know which way up, down or side ways.
Sometimes it may be the chastening and discipline of the Lord, which ever way it may be, all you need to do is to hang on in faith and know that God is guiding.
Look at this, "Darkness light", He didn't promise here to take away the darkness at this point but He will make the "Darkness" light unto them.i.e even though the experience you are having seems dark yet it's guiding you into light.
"Crooked ways straight" even though the way is crooked yet it's leading you in a straight path, This is the God we serve.
Little wonder he says in Isa 58:11
“and the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in DROUGHT, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not"
All these will happen in DROUGHT and not out of the season or place of Drought. This is the God we serve. He makes foolish the wisdom of the wise.
Henceforth when you have such experiences, Hang on in faith, ensure your life is committed to God and you are not walking in willful rebellion against the will of God, by this you can be sure God is guiding.
He leads us by "Light" or by "Blindness" either way he leads, for he is God.
