Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
You will encounter rejection and betrayal by the dearest on earth. During the course of your lifetime, you will encounter bitterness and temptation, maybe a deep desire for revenge. You can find yourself embroiled in hatred that is all-consuming. Maybe today you find yourself feeling the agony of being forgotten by those you have helped the most.
I have great news for you! Through the power of the Almighty God, it is possible to move beyond your personal tragedies to reach your divine destiny. It is possible to recover from heartbreaking setbacks, to move beyond pain and devastation and to be recreated by the Lord. He can make old things new again and restore that which the enemy has taken from you.
Do you need a fresh start today? Are you seeking new inspiration? Look to the Friend who sticks closer than any brother, knowing that the battle belongs to Him. Begin to sing a song in the night because good things are on the way!
