If you give me all the glory, I will give you all the growing room you need.
I will loosen the reins and we will gallop the pastures together. I will set those at liberty who are bound. The shackles and chains of every worldly addiction broken.
And that doesn’t always look like drugs or alcohol. Sometimes it can be a religious spirit seeking the approval of man, trusting in money more than God. Sometimes we can even be addicted to our husband, wife or children. Anything we place before God has become an idol in our life.
Tear down any alters in your life that the world has helped you erect. Say no to Baal, and yes to Jesus. Stop trying to control things in your own strength and let your prayers Guide the way. Let them be the rudder that moves the whole ship. There is power in your prayers and power in the name of Jesus. What are you putting your faith in today, God or man or worse yet your money. All these things are temporary and will one day pass away.
Our God is the God of forever! Shout for joy to the Lord all the earth, worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations (Psalm 100:1-5). Our God is a generational God and what we do now will matter for our children later. Will you sow blessings or curses into their lives? As for me and my house, “WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!” For his mercy endures forever....
