A Giant Oak Tree by Tammy Lang Jensen
So I saw a vision of a giant oak tree this morning. I felt the oak tree represented Jesus. It was then pulled up by the roots and run through a machine that turned it into timber.

I saw the timber divided into 12 equal parts. The Lord then asked me,”Can that tree be put back together and assume it’s original form?” Of course my answer was no.

He then said,”But are not those 12 parts still useful as I have appropriated them for different use now.” One may become a staff to be used in prophetic worship, another a cane for a crippled man, and yet another a beam to build a house. So while the wood will never be a tree again, it is just as valuable divided, and can be in many places doing many things. So the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are 3-n-1, all performing distinct things. And every time a believer is born-again, Holy Spirit comes to live inside of them to comfort and to counsel them. Now can Holy Spirit jump outside of that person and fully become Jesus in human form again, I would venture to say not.

But I would add, nothing is impossible to our God. So if Jesus is like the oak tree, then the spirit living in us makes us like the 12 pieces of wood from the tree. We have been re-purposed with a little piece of Jesus in each one of us. So truly we are the hands and feet of Jesus. Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16).

Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you (2 Timothy 1:14). But when He, the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on his own initiative, but whatever he hears, he will speak and he will disclose to you what is to come (John 16:13). So don’t we by the very nature of having Holy Spirit in us come together on one accord. Each string on a guitar is a different note, but when strummed together simultaneously by the Master’s hand, you get a beautiful melody. Are we not all as born-again believers from the same Oak tree-Jesus?

But have we not been appropriated for different work, you can’t make a whole body with all arms. I hear the Lord say,”Man continues to devise plans and strategies to bring about revival.” I hear a shout from heaven,”Let God be God!” We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps (Proverbs 16:9). So the problem really isn’t a lack of blueprints and strategies from heaven. The problem is the lack of completely surrendered vessels to Holy Spirit.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, REMAIN IN HIM! (1 John 2:27). So the Lord gives one final encouragement. Set quietly before the Lord, totally surrender to the Holy Spirit. Then the melody of REVIVAL will burst forth, with no sweat off your brow....
