As I met Jesus in the garden, he handed me a bouquet of flowers. As I looked at them, I realized they were constantly changing in my hand.
One minute they were jasmine, then irises, then orchids. I asked Jesus,”Why is the bouquet changing every couple of minutes?”
He said, because I know you love many flowers, not just one and my heart desire is that your life would be full of the things you love. But then he showed me something, with a lesson in it. We were in a lush green valley standing in the middle of the most magnificent herd of horses you have ever seen. I immediately started looking at all the horses thinking of names, daydreaming of my vision for a ranch. Before long, I realized I was no longer talking with Jesus. I was enamored with the blessing and all I needed to do.
Did you know the enemy can bless you right out of your relationship with Jesus? Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, then for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24). This is a gentle nudge to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and not on his hand. As long as your heart is buried in your savior you can never go wrong....
