The Low Riding Cars by Tammy Lang Jensen

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17)....

The Low Riding Cars by Tammy Lang Jensen
The Lord was showing me images of low riding cars this morning. The ones with hydraulics that make the front end bounce up-and-down. I realized you really don’t see those cars as much anymore.

They were a passing fad, and unfortunately those adjustments made to the car did not improve its driving ability, what the car was originally designed for.

If anything, the car was hindered, and when sitting so low could not be driven over obstacles or just anywhere. The Lord gave a stern warning about getting caught up in fads in the church building. What seems to be the latest and greatest new thing. Because as time wears on, fads will fade away. But the truth of God will stand forever. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Remain steadfast in the truths of God, and don’t become obsolete. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17)....

Let the word of God furnish you, like a well furnished home. Let Christ be the firm foundation on which it’s built. Not a lot of fluff, but a lot of foundational truth. So you may be asking, what is the truth? The truth is, Christ will return one day while no one knows the hour....”Are you ready?” The word tells us in Matthew 24:36- But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Our job is to just trust and obey and do the works of the Lord. Because quite frankly my friends, someone is dying every day and going to hell because they never heard the good news, the gospel of Christ.

The fact that heaven and hell are real, and not choosing is a choice in and of itself, choose Christ and live. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The word of God assures us that on the third day he rose, we serve a risen savior! But what Christ did between the crucifixion and the resurrection are just as important. I am the living one; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death, hell and the grave! (Revelation 1:18).

I hear people prophesying all the time about the keys being passed out, keys of promotion, revelation, wisdom and knowledge. And that is all well and good, but don’t lose sight of the most important key, the key to the grave. Once you were dead in your sins, but now you are alive forever more. Thank you Jesus for the redemptive power of your blood. So keep the main thing, the main thing; and keep your eyes on Jesus. Return to your first love and say this with me: “I am my beloveds and my beloved is mine” (Song of Solomon 6:3)....
