Message:
Holiness is an intrinsic part of God’s nature; it is His very essence. Everything about Him is wrapped up in holiness. His love, mercy, power, justice, glory and all of His character reflect His holiness. Every action of God is designed to perpetuate His holiness. When He exhibits love, it is borne out of His holiness. If He is angry, it is because of His holiness. When He judges sin, it is out of His holiness. In His dealings with all His creatures, whether in Heaven, on earth or beneath the earth, one theme rings out: holiness. No wonder the seraphs in His presence keep repeating “Holy Holy, Holy”. Isaiah 6:3 says this about them:
“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”
Similarly, Apostle John reports of the four beasts in Heaven who

Prayer Point
Father, let Your nature of holiness flow seamlessly through me every second from today.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

As much as I love my wife and daughter, I have never bothered to count the number of hairs on their heads. I don’t have the time to do so and I doubt I will ever want to.

Every day, your hair drops. Yet, God knows how many hairs are left on your head. And He also knows how many are growing back! He knows because He bothers to count them again. When it comes to you, He always has time for every little thing about you.

So when Jesus said, “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered,” He was not exaggerating. He never exaggerates. He means what He says and He says what He means. So for the Lord to say that the very hairs of your head are all numbered means that He wants you to know that He is very interested in you and has intimate knowledge about you—your body, family, finances, relationships…everything in your life!

He knows the pain you have been having in your body. He is aware of the financial worry which you have been keeping from your family. He sees how your nasty boss is treating you. He understands the hurts you have been keeping in your heart. He hears your heart’s cry for a miracle baby.

Your heavenly Father wants you to know that as long as something concerns you, He does not overlook it, even if it is about your pet, as a church member found out. She panicked when she first discovered that her pet terrapin had gone blind. Then, remembering my messages on confessing healing for our bodies, she did the same for her pet! Three months later, the terrapin’s eyes were wide open and able to see!

God knows you intimately. He knows every small problem you are worried about and every single burden you have. And when you approach Him for help, He has all the time for you as if no one else exists. That is how valuable you are to Him and how absorbed He is in you!

Thought For The Day

JUST FOR TODAY, I will paint the world with the color of my smile.
I will smile, and say a simple hello to an entire stranger.
For, in my experience, the most magical of all tools for the cultivation of human amity is a smile.
And when the smile is enriched with a simple hello, the recipient's world appears painted in a wonderful kaleidoscope of colors.
Once, I was a guest at the home of my mentor and teacher.
After a hearty lunch of the most exceptional gastronomic appeal, we took a stroll into the adjoining village.

As we ambled lazily along a stone-cobbled path, we encountered a few people strolling in the opposite direction.
I couldn't help noticing that my mentor, The Sage, seemed to have a ready, wide and earthy grin for each person we met.
Since I was with him for whatever nuggets of wisdom he saw fit to offer me, I decided to ask him a question.

"Teacher, why do you smile at everyone we meet on this path?"
In his characteristic, halting demeanor, The Sage paused in his track, momentarily.
He started speaking.
"Son, one of the most enduring lessons I have learnt on this arduous journey called life is that you are never fully dressed without a smile. That is why, when I encounter someone without a smile, I give them one of mine, to clothe them fully."
The old man continued.
"Son, the commonplace smile can be a blessing in many more ways than one. This is because it is also true that a simple smile can lead to a million magical things."
He told me a story.

A true story.
The famous French author, Antoine de St. Exupery, as a fighter pilot during the Spanish Civil War, had a harrowing, but fascinating encounter as a Prisoner of War.
He was grimly told he would be executed the next day.
At the sound of gunshots coming from the back of the prison, he became extremely distraught with the fear of impending and inevitable death.
Nervously, he fumbled for a cigarette, which his trembling hand could barely transport to his quivering lips.

But he had no matches!
“Hello!" He tremulously called out to the jailer, who resolutely refused to make eye contact with him.
Shrugging, the jailer came over to light Antoine’s cigarette, and as he lit a match for his prisoner, their eyes inadvertently locked.
At that moment, Antoine, for no apparent reason, smiled.
And in that moment, some indefinable spark of amity seemed to jump from one soul to the other, and most certainly against his every conscious intention, a complimentary smile came to the jailer's lips.
He continued to smile, maintaining direct eye contact.
Jailer: “Do you have children?”

Antoine: “Yes……yes….I have three.” He replied, fumbling for his family pictures.
Jailer: “I, too, have three.” He produced his own pictures, and went on to talk about his plans for his children’s future.
Antoine: “You are a lucky man. I will never see my own kids again. They will grow up without a father.” His eyes filled with tears.
Jailer: (His eyes filling with tears too) “Come with me!” He said abruptly.
And he unlocked the cell door, leading Antoine out of the prison through a back entrance, and through back streets, until they reached the city gates, where he released the hapless prisoner.
Without another word, he turned back toward the town.
Antoine de Exupery's life was saved by a smile!

Behind the curtains which we put up to shield ourselves, our dignity, our social titles and our status, from prying eyes, lie our authentic and real selves.
The elaborate façade behind which we hide only serves to isolate and insulate us from each other, and prevent our souls from connecting with each other in a meaningful way.
Consider this: Why do we instinctively smile whenever we see a baby?
I suggest that we do so because we are meeting someone who has no defensive barricades, and whose smile for us is fully genuine in its sweet innocence.
Today, I will break into a spontaneous smile, and embellish it with a hello.
For, a smile costs nothing, yet gives a lot.
A smile enriches those who receive it, while not making poorer those who give it.
A smile takes but a moment, but its memory can last forever.
A smile brightens up the home.
A smile generates goodwill in business.
A smile is nature’s antidote for a troubled soul.
Yet, it cannot be bought or stolen, since it is of no value unless it is given away for free.

ACTION EXERCISE
Next time you are at the gas station, as the attendant makes to fill your tank, break out in a wide grin, and let the smile light up your eyes.
You will, at first, get a startled reaction, but this will invariably be followed by a return, tentative smile.

It is at this magic moment that your two souls have recognized each other from some celestial past; a past shared by all of God’s creations.
You can then go a step further.
“Hello! Thank you for being here for us all. You are doing a great job here."
You have made his day.

You have made his work worthwhile
Some people may be too tired to give you a smile.
Perhaps they also have no more to give, because of the cares and burdens of their lives.
Give them one of yours.
Insist on being cheerful today, and then pass that cheer on to others with a simple smile............and a hello!

Mark 11:25

Few people realize just how closely connected faith and forgiveness are. Jesus taught about that connection in His sermon on mountain-moving faith that's recorded in Mark 11:22-26.

He said, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive" (verses 24-25).

Jesus backed those two sentences up together on purpose. He wanted us to know that releasing those who have wronged us is fundamental to receiving from God. He wanted to impress on our hearts the fact that we cannot have our prayers answered and hold grudges in our hearts at the same time.

Unforgiveness clogs the faith channel and keeps you powerless against the mountains in your life!

If you've been praying for something and you just can't seem to get an answer, check your heart for unforgiveness. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring any grudge that's hidden there to light. Unclog the channel of faith and you will soon see things you've been praying for come to pass.

Waiting! It’s a big part of our everyday lives, and most of us don’t particularly enjoy it…or have time for it. Especially busy people who usually have way more to do in a day than they can possibly accomplish! But I can tell you from experience that our attitude about waiting can make all the difference in the world.

Like the Israelites who spent forty years making an eleven-day trip, I was stuck in a modern-day wilderness of my own. I had many wrong attitudes that contributed to the prevention of my progress, but one of the major roadblocks for me was an impatient attitude that made me want to scream: “Please don’t make me wait for anything. I deserve everything immediately!” I had a long and interesting journey before I learned that waiting is part of our walk with God. We will wait—that is a given—but it is how we wait that determines how difficult the wait will be.

When you arrive for an appointment with your doctor or dentist, you have to wait your turn. The first thing the receptionist tells you is, “Please have a seat while you’re waiting.” Being seated indicates that a person is resting, and that’s exactly what we should do, both in the doctor’s office and in the wilderness experiences of our lives. While we’re waiting for God to do the things that we asked for Him to do, we should rest in Him.

Another attitude that prevented me from making progress was “I will do it my way or not at all.” This stubborn attitude is one that many people have to deal with. If it is not dealt with, the Promised-Land living becomes a blurry image and never a reality — something we see off in the future but never experience.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. When we are serious about making some changes in our attitudes and allow the Holy Spirit to help us, we can take a shortcut through the wilderness instead of going the long way around!

Trust in Him: Having a good attitude in a trying situation is at least 90 percent of the battle. There will always be trials in life, but as we trust God and continue to do what He is showing us to do, we will always come out victorious.

Message:
Our God is a meticulous God. He does not do anything without first planning for it. His plans are sometimes mapped out thousands or millions of years before they are executed. We need to learn from this character of God and apply its principles in our life. Before God created man, He knew that the first Adam would fall into sin, and so He began to make preparation for the second Adam. In the same vein, before you were created, God knew all the details about you. Because He knew your strengths and weaknesses, He prepared the appropriate help you would need to succeed, even before your were born. If you can draw close to God, He will share a bit of His knowledge with you. Do most events take you by surprise, or do they occur as a fulfilment of what God had already shown you? Also, at what point do you plan for events and activities that you know would happen? For example, at what point do you plan for your children: is it long before they are born, just before they are born or after their birth?

Not only does our God plan, He also has a purpose behind everything He does. That is why Ephesians 1:11 says:

“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”

We are products of His divine purpose. Believe it or not, everything and everyone created by God has a purpose (Revelation 4:11, Jeremiah 1:4-5). God has a general plan into which His specific plan for your life fits. You were created unique, and you are one of a kind. There can never be another you among all the billions of people on earth. The exact details of your life are in God’s hands. Although God has a specific plan for everyone He created, it is unfortunate that only a negligible few ever get to know and fulfil that plan. Do you know why you are here? Do you know why God made you? Have you keyed into the purpose of God for your life? Are you where God wants you to be and doing what He wants you to do? You need to know that when God is working in you and through you, it is to accomplish His purpose and not yours, even though He grants you your own desires sometimes. Have you keyed into His plan for your life?

Prayer Point
Father, I submit to your plan and purpose for my life. Help me to recognise them, and keep me from straying from them.

Romans 4:7–8
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

Some people think that if they were more “right” with God, then He would hear their prayers. For example, they sometimes believe that if they had not quarreled with their wives or had those bad thoughts earlier in the day, then God would answer their prayers.

God is not like that. He wants you to know beyond any doubt that you can always come to His throne of grace with boldness and have every confidence that you will receive His mercy and grace. (Hebrews 4:16) You see, because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, you are already right with God. You don’t need to do anything to make yourself more right with God.

In fact, by faith in Jesus, you have received the righteousness of God Himself! (2 Corinthians 5:21) And no matter how many mistakes you make, you will never lose that righteousness because in the first place, God gave it to you apart from your works. (Romans 4:5–6) In other words, God did not impute righteousness to you because you were good, but because you believed in Jesus.

Because of what Jesus has done for you at the cross, all your sins—past, present and future—are forgiven. God will by no means ever remember your sins or count them against you! (Hebrews 8:12, 10:17)

My friend, because Jesus has been punished for your sins, today, God is not counting your sins against you. This means that your sins won’t stop Him from hearing and responding to your prayers. So you can always run into His presence knowing that you can boldly stand in and enjoy His presence and His love.

When you know this truth, it is going to set you free in your relationship with God. You can talk to Him without fear or any sense of condemnation. You can practice His presence and trust that He always hears you. Should something happen at home or at work, you don’t always have to call for your church leaders—you pray and God hears you!

Beloved, you are righteous in Christ and God hears your prayers—all because of Jesus!

Thought For The Day
Because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, you are already right with God. So when you pray, God hears you!

A man’s wisdom gives him patience.
—Proverbs 19:11 NIV

People often ask me, “How can I learn contentment and stability?” One way, straight out of the Bible, is patience.

God wants us to use wisdom, and wisdom encourages patience. Wisdom silently tells us to wait a little while, until the emotions settle down, before you do or say something. Then check to see if you really believe it’s the right thing to do. Emotions urge us toward haste, telling us we must do something and do it right now!

But godly wisdom tells us to be patient and wait until we have a clear picture of what we are to do and when we are to do it. I like to say it like this: Let emotions subside and then decide. We need to be able to step back from our situations and see them from God’s perspective. Then we need to make decisions based on what we know rather than what we feel.

Power Thought: I have the wisdom to develop patience and emotional stability

I hear "An abundance of overflow" for 2016. I saw rain falling from a single cloud over a dry field. Soon it was a pool of water. Suddenly, I saw a MASSIVE waterfall of beautiful crystal clear water, many miles long ,flowing into this same area.

"Up until now, Beloved, I have been providing for your needs by faith. The dry places are becoming pools of refreshment and your wilderness is dripping with My favor. But MUCH MORE is on the way. Only believe.

You will see neither wind nor rain, yet your deserts shall become an ocean of blessing. I am crowning your year with bounty and your paths shall drip with prosperity. You shall have more than enough in every area, for it was purchased for you with a great price. Trust Me completely, My Child. For too long, the enemy has stolen what was rightfully yours. I am leading you out of the valley of weeping and into a place of abundance.

I give you ALL sufficiency in ALL things, Beloved. My Grace IS sufficient for you for I am the Rock from which all blessings flow. Get ready, My Child, to receive all that I have promised you. Your sighs and your tears shall become shouts of joy. Lean on My Everlasting Arm completely, My Bride, and rejoice, for we are coming out of this wilderness in victory."

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Hebrews 2:1

It's happened to all of us. We get a little of the Word of God under our spiritual belts. We have a few victories. Our lives are going great for the first time in years. Then suddenly we slip and it all falls apart. We find ourselves having to start all over again.

That's what happened to the people the book of Hebrews was written to. They made such great spiritual progress that they got to the place where they should have been teachers. Then they slipped back so much, they needed baby food again. (See Hebrews 5:12.)

What caused them to fall so far? They let other things get in the way of their faith. They let the promises of God slip, so they slipped.

That's happened to a multitude of believers in the last several years.

"Well, Brother Copeland," they said, "we're tired of that faith stuff." Or, "We just don't have time to spend that much time in the Word."

They've turned their attention away from the promises of God. It's not that they didn't believe them anymore. It's just that they directed their attention to other things. They let their Word level drop and since low Word level equals low faith level, they soon began suffering defeat in areas where they once had victory.

Don't let that happen to you. When things are going well, don't just ride the tide of God's blessing. Dig deeper into what God has for you. Give more earnest heed to the promises of God. Concentrate on moving ahead, on becoming so strong in the Spirit you can not only get your own needs met, you'll meet others' needs as well!

Remember: Low Word Level = Low Faith Level = Slip.

Don't get so busy enjoying today's victory that tomorrow ends up in defeat. Look into the things you've learned. Give the Word more of your attention—not less. Keep moving from faith to faith. Instead of trying to trip you up, Satan and his bunch will be crying, "Oh no, that faith man is coming after us again!"
