A Calm Delight by Joyce Meyer
You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy.
—Psalm 16:11

When you consider joy, you may immediately think about one of those bubbly people you know who is “up” all of the time, and perhaps you are not like that. I’m not like that either. But for those of us who tend to be more serious, it is important that we also learn how to have fun, to cut loose, and lighten up a little.

What is joy and what is joy based on? Joy is defined as “a shout; a proclamation that can manifest in singing; a calm delight.” Your joy is not to be based on your circumstances. Happiness may be based on what is happening to you, but not joy.

Joy—a fruit of the Spirit—is like a deep well on the inside of you. It is not the fruit of your circumstance. No matter what you are facing in life, you can have joy in the midst of it. Learn to abide in the midst of a calm delight.

Take A Breath of My Heavenly Air by Deborah Waldron Fry
I hear you crying out," Oh Lord, what shall I do?" Do not let fear overtake your mind, Beloved. Stop, and take a breath of My Heavenly Air. Let My Spirit refresh and renew you. My Grace is sufficient for you, Dear One, and My Strength shall shine forth to overcome your weakness. There is nothing new under the sun, My Child.

I see the end from the beginning. Nothing that happens to you takes Me by surprise. Trust in Me and cast those cares upon My strong Shoulders. I have already made a way of escape. I have gone before you into your tomorrows. Your past has no bearing on today. My kingdom is always NOW. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Call upon Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know. There is nothing hidden from Me. I will reveal the secret things to you by My Spirit. This is the victory that overcomes the WORLD, even your faith in Your Savior and King. You are in the world but not OF the world. Turn your heart and your mind to the Author and Perfecter of your faith, Beloved. I refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. NOTHING can separate you from My Love. I will keep you from the evil one, My Child. For it is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts
.....................................................................................................................................................
Luke 21:26 men fainting at heart from fear, and expectation of the things coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

Jeremiah 31:25 I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.
John 17:15 My prayer is not that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me," My grace is sufficient for you: for My strength is made perfect in weakness."

Romans 8:38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Human wants are insatiable which means it is unlimited according to economical term. If you are not comfortable with what God has given you, you will definitely finds it difficult to appreciate and thank Him for what He has done for you and the acts will lock up permanently the incoming blessings

In life, we are not operating in the same frequency of grace and mercy but God still loves us.

What a sermon from great man of God, Pastor Joel Osteen as teaches more on this topics. Be blessed as you watch

Memorise:
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1st Corinthians 11:24

Read: 1st Corinthians 11:23-25, 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Bible in one year: Psalm 73-77, Hebrews 9:1-22

Message:
The Holy Communion is a very significant meal. Unlike regular meals, it is a meal of remembrance. When some people take this meal, they forget to heed the instruction in today’s Bible reading, where the Lord repeatedly said “…this do in remembrance of Me”. In other words, the meal reminds us of God’s power of transformation. As you take the meal, God is saying to you:

“Remember who you were before, and what I have made you now; remember how you were dead in sin and trespasses, but the Holy Spirit has now quickened your spirit man. You were dumped and disowned before I received you and sealed you with the Holy Spirit. Remember how you thought you could buy salvation by being religious and buying things for your church before the Holy Spirit illuminated your mind and showed you the true way of salvation.”
The meal of remembrance simply calls you to remember your past life and compare it with what God is doing in you presently.

When I consider just a few things from my past life, and compare them with what I see today, I cannot but be full of appreciation and gratitude to God, thanking Him for all He has done. Sometimes, while in the car, as I express gratitude to God, my driver would have to look back, wondering what is going on. Looking at my past, nobody would believe that I could become what I am today. After news about me reached the ears of my mathematics professor, he travelled all the way from Onitsha (South-East Nigeria) to the Redemption Camp, just to confirm if the Adeboye he was hearing about was that same little boy whom he taught mathematics. The first time he came, I was not in, but my wife was; so he met my wife and asked her if I was the one, and she confirmed it. He later visited again, and this time around he met me. As we discussed, in astonishment, he kept on saying, “Adeboye! Adeboye”, and I replied “Sir. In all you do, don’t forget who you were before the Holy Spirit took you up. As you take the Holy Communion, remember where you are coming from and where the Lord has taken you so far. See His goodness in your life and just thank and praise Him.

Action Point
Reflect over what your life was before you met Jesus and what it is today; thank God for all He has done for you.

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:23

Jesus didn't say, "Whosoever shall speak to God about this mountain." He said we should speak directly to the mountain the desired end result.

From a worldly point of view, that sounds foolish. But 1 Corinthians 1:27 explains that God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. It's always going to sound foolish to the world when a Christian talks as if what God has promised is reality, especially when those promises seem to contradict the natural evidence around us. But if you want to keep the enemy defeated, that's the kind of talking you'd better be doing.

The Bible says God Himself talks that way! In Romans 4:17, it says, "[He] calleth those things which be not as though they were." God doesn't wait for circumstances to line up before He speaks. He causes them to line up because He speaks. You can do the same thing if you'll make your words agree with His and speak them out of your mouth by faith.

"But what if nothing happens right away?" you may ask. "What if the circumstances don't immediately change?" When Jesus spoke to the fig tree in Mark 11:14, He didn't go back and check to see if anything had happened to it. No, once He had spoken it, He considered it done.

Follow His example. Let your faith speak. Agree with God's Word!

Scripture Reading:
Mark 11:12-23

But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.
—1 Corinthians 2:16

Do you get mad every time somebody tries to correct you, or tell you what to do, because you always have to be right? If you answered yes, I am sure that you are not a happy person. You cannot change others, but you can allow God to change you so that things don’t bother you anymore.

With Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can learn how to live a different way. You can have peace. You can sleep well at night. You can like yourself. You can restore relationships that have been ruined.

Your mind can be renewed to be like Jesus’, if you read His Word and ask Him to help you live the abundant life He came to give you (see John 10:10).

Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Perched on a tree branch, two birds were observing passers-by rushing from one place to another. Looking at their faces, one bird asked the other, “Why is man so full of worries and cares?” The other bird answered, “Maybe they don’t have a heavenly Father like we do.”

I believe that the Lord made birds to tell us that we are of more value than many birds put together. In Matthew 10:29, Jesus said, “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin?” Then, in Luke 12:6, He said, “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins?” If you do the math, you will realize that these sparrows are so cheap that you can buy four of them for two copper coins, and you get one thrown in for free!

Sparrows are common creatures in Israel. Yet, not even one of these cheap birds falls to the ground without the Father’s knowledge. (Matthew 10:29) Not one of them is forgotten before Him. (Luke 12:6) So will He forget you who are of more value than all these birds put together?

Jesus said, “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” And if your heavenly Father feeds the birds of the air, how much more will He feed you, His precious, beloved child!

“Why don’t I see the supply then?” you may ask.

The answer is worry. That is why Jesus also said, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’…For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” (Matthew 6:31–32)

Beloved, if your heavenly Father cares for cheap, common birds, and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for you, His dear, precious child! Let your heart be at rest as you hear Him say to you, “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31)

Thought For The Day
If your heavenly Father cares for common birds and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for you, His dear, precious child!

Cleofas By Okechuckwu Okugo
This drama is set in one of the developing towns in the deltas of Nigeria. It is a comedy of distinctive plotting written thoughtfully to evoke laughter at the same time bears an immeasurable message.
The story revolves round two witty incompatible ex-convicts deported from Botswana in the southern part of Africa, coming back to their town with highly synchronized scams of manipulating and swindling people in the name of God.

The main objective of writing this play is to help curb the increasing trends of falling into the ploys of manipulators who are earnestly seeking for unwary souls to “radicalize” in whatever form, especially in the western world today; and to let people know that religion should not be a tool to harm oneself or others or for the pursuit of some personal or other evil ambitions.

If there is one fruit religion should yield in one’s heart that should be love because humankind is one. Love produces tolerance and true friendliness. It enables all despite the massive differences to live together in peace, obey the laws of the land and shun all forms of corruption – especially religious corruption – to move the society forward.

Do Not Give Your Power Away by Deborah Waldron Fry
Be still, My Love. Take heart, it is I. Do not be afraid. I Am the I AM. I am with you always. I say to your enemies, "HUSH, be still", and it is so. I have first place in everything. In Me, all things are held together. Though the devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, he has NO dominion over you, Dear One. You are Mine. Do not give your power away. Do not lose your confidence in these last days.

You are not vulnerable, but you are HIDDEN IN ME. I am He who is Faithful. I am your 911, Beloved. (Psalm 91:1) I am the Secret Place in which you are concealed and protected. The devil is a liar and the father of it. I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of POWER, love, and a sound mind. I am with you always. I hold you and your loved ones in My hand. I am your Shelter in the storm. Remember whose you are, Beloved. You have nothing to fear. Be still and know that I AM God.................................................................................................................................
"In Jesus"

YOU ARE NOT
vulnerable: easily hurt or harmed physically, mentally, or emotionally: open to attack, harm, or damage

YOU ARE
hidden: out of sight: concealed: cloistered, secluded, sheltered
Exodus 3:14 And God said.., “I AM WHO I AM.”
Mark 6:52 “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.” And He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded

Mark 4:38 Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" 39 And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am!"
Colossians 1:16 For by Him (Jesus) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

Colossians 3:2Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
