Thank You, Lord by Gloria Copeland
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Notice that this scripture instructs us to give thanks in all things, not for all things. When tragedy or temptation strikes, we are not to thank God for them. He is not their author. He's the One who provides our way of escape from them. And that's what we're to thank Him for.

If you read the four Gospels, you'll find that Jesus never gave thanks for sickness or death. Instead, when He encountered them, His response was to overcome them by God's power. So give thanks as Jesus gave thanks—not for Satan's activities but for the victory God has given you over them.

Scripture Reading:
John 11:1-48

Life Is Eternal by Billy Graham
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.
—Titus 1:2

Life is a glorious opportunity, if it is used to condition us for eternity. If we fail in this, though we succeed in everything else, our life will have been a failure. There is no escape for the man who squanders his opportunity to prepare to meet God.

Our lives are also immortal. God made man different from the other creatures. He made him in His own image, a living soul. When this body dies and our earthly existence is terminated, the soul lives on forever. One thousand years from this day, you will be more alive than you are at this moment. The Bible teaches that life does not end at the cemetery. There is a future life with God for those who put their trust in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Prayer for the day
Thank You for the eternal life in Christ and for the peace that comes over me because of this triumphant promise! Today help me relay this joyous news to those around me.

The starting point of true bountifulness is in the realm of the soul. “For as a man thinks in his heart so is he”.

It is for this reason that Apostle John anchors true prosperity in the realm of the believer’s soul [III John 2] “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers”. Psalm 116:6 is the focus of tonight’s sermon “The Lord preserves the simple” [Cf. Ecclesiastes 7:29].

Revelation 14 tells of three important messages to the world. John’s vision here is not symbolic of three literal angels who will come and proclaim these messages to the world. Rather, it refers to God’s people—His ambassadors—who proclaim these truths.

The Choices by Tammy Lang Jensen
"As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
Romans 14:11-12

This morning as I was sitting here getting quiet with God, He reiterated the message He had placed on my heart yesterday and wanted to expand upon it this morning.

Yesterday I had talked about the choices we make and the lives that we live and each of us will stand before God in judgement the day our time on this earth is through. Let me say that again so nobody misses it. Each and every person born of this earth will stand before God in judgement, even if only for an instant. And when you stand before God the first words you will here will be one of two statements, both of which are in the Bible, and depending on what you hear, you will know where you will be spending eternity. If you hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant," you will spend eternity in Heaven. If your hear, "Depart from Me, I never knew you," you will be kneeling and confessing in hell for all eternity.

What we have to understand and have to share with everyone we meet, whoever will listen, is that God does not want anyone to spend eternity in hell, but at the same time, He will not force anyone to love Him and choose Him and He will get out of your way and honor your choice.

Gods word, is the truth and many have a hard time believing it because they have been lied to and brainwashed by society and by Hollywood. The realty is that every knee shall bow to Jesus and every tongue shall confess to God, it just depends on where you are when you realize it.

Let each of us insure the word of God is known to every person we know and every person whose path we cross. Then it is up to them to believe or not, but the day will come that every, and I mean every person will know the truth, but for so many, it will be too late for them and they will realize it when they hear, "Depart from Me, I never knew you."

God Bless
Pastor Mark

Pure Love by Deborah Waldron Fry
Dear sisters and brothers, I feel led to share with you an experience I had 40 years ago. Whether in the body or out of the body I do not know.

But suddenly, I was surrounded by amber colored beautiful Light. And I felt PURE LOVE, the kind of Love that caused me to "melt" to my knees. I also felt every burden gone from my body and total peace and joy. And I heard what I believe to be an angel say," It isn't time yet" and then I was back to my body in the normal world. I think I was given this experience to report it to someone today.

Yes, 40 years later on Facebook. :D Someone who needs to hear about God's love for them. His mercy and not His judgment. So when the Bible says" every knee shall bow," it is not the severity of God that causes a man or woman to bow to our Lord and Savior, but it is His Radiant Love, Holiness, and Goodness that overwhelms them. For does not the Word say that it is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. Oh Beloved Child of God, your Abba Father is not waiting for you to do something wrong so that He can punish you or your loved ones, oh no, He is passionately in love with His sons and daughters.

It is this Love which saved you and justified you for all time. It is His Love that carries us through every day of our lives. Yes, there will be judgment in the tribulation. The age of Grace is coming to a close I think, Jesus is returning soon. If you haven't made Him your Savior, make that decision now. WE all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. BUT JESUS redeemed us and through Him, we have become a Child of God upon whom He LAVISHES His Love. The Holy Spirit is calling,"Come, all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Come to Me, My Child, I am all you need."

...Matthew 9:12On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

...John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

...1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
...Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the GOODNESS of God leads you to repentance?

...John 3:3Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

... 2 Corinthians 4:6For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

God Watches Over Us by Rick Warren
“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever” (Psalm 23:6 NLT).

When King David declared that God’s goodness would pursue him, he wasn’t saying, “Surely only good things are going to happen to me!” He knew as well as anyone that bad things happen to good people.
Instead, David was saying that only God’s goodness would follow after or pursue him. No matter how bad or evil or difficult something seems, God can work it out for good.

It’s one of God’s great promises that he’s given to believers: Everything that happens to us is working for our good—if we love God and are fitting into his plans (see Romans 8:28). If you’re a believer, the Bible says all things are working together for good—not that all things are good, but things are working together for good.

There is no difficulty, dilemma, defeat, or disaster in the life of a believer that God can’t ultimately turn toward his purpose.

Like goodness, God’s unfailing love follows us in life. King David says it pursues us!

Picture a parent following a little child around picking up after them. When we’re struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups, God is coming right alongside us, helping to pick up our messes and telling us that his unfailing love is always there.

So instead of entering into the future with a question mark, you can do it with an exclamation point! God will be with you no matter what happens. He will help you out: “Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever” (Psalm 23:6 NLT).

God’s goodness will provide and protect.
God’s mercy (unfailing love) will pardon and forgive.
God’s goodness will supply.
God’s mercy will soothe.
God’s goodness will help.
God’s mercy will heal.
Goodness is the fact that God gives us good things in life that we don’t deserve. Mercy means God holds back the condemnation we deserve.

When King David said he would live in the Lord’s house forever, he was saying that God had prepared a place for him in heaven.

That’s one of the most important connections we see in the Bible. It connects yesterday with today and then connects them both with tomorrow.

God says, “I’ve got this great life planned for you, and surely goodness and mercy will follow you through it, but that’s not the end! I’ve got something else at the end!” God builds it to a crescendo.

So David ends his psalm by saying, “We’re going to heaven!” Jesus saves the best until last. With God it just keeps getting better and better. The best is yet to come. “Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands” (2 Corinthians 5:1 NIV).

Talk It Over

What are some ways that you see God’s unfailing love following you?
The Bible teaches that no matter how bad or evil or difficult something seems, God can work it out for good (see Romans 8:28). How does that truth affect your life?
How have you seen God use difficulty, dilemma, defeat, or disaster in your life—or the life of another believer—for his purpose?
