It is the Lord your God you must follow and him you must Revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him (Deuteronomy 13:4).
He longs for love and service, waiting expectantly each day. He is a good, good Father; he corrects, loves and disciplines. How else do we find guidance and boundaries.
The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love (Psalm 145:8). But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:21-23). I call my people to repentance, I wish to know and save their soul. In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old man will dream dreams (Acts 2:17). The flame of the Father is coming, have you made your vessel ready to receive. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship (Romans 12:1). May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress (1 Timothy 4:15). Someone is always watching, aware of how you act. Will you be a good example or a horrible warning. The choice is yours to make....
