Wake up and be refreshed! As the holidays begin to drain you, return to the quiet place with me and be refreshed. Let Holy Spirit breathe new life into you.
While excited for the new gift you will receive, don’t forget to look back on this past year and all you have to be thankful for.
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones (Proverbs 17:22). Count on God this season to resurrect dead dreams, to blow life into your situation. He asked me, “son of man, can these bones live?” I said, sovereign Lord, you alone know. Then he said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!”(Ezekiel 37:3-4).
Speak to those things that be not, as though they are. Call forth those dead situations, and speak life. The power of life and death are in the tongue, those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21). I speak victory to you, prosperity and fullness of life. You shall not die, but live, and tell of the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
You shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth your fruit in season; your leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever you do shall prosper (Psalm 1:3). You shall be as the favored of the Lord, whatever you touch shall turn to gold, pure gold! See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction (Isaiah 48:10). You have found favor with the Lord, today I call you Esther.
Ask what you will and it shall be yours. Then the king asked, “What is it Queen Esther? What is your request?” Even up to half the kingdom, it will be given you” (Esther 5:3). Arise, shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you; and he has raised you up for a time such as this....
