When You Think You Cannot Go On by Tammy Lang Jensen
As I met the Lord in our quite place this morning. He said, “Jump in the water with me.” As I jumped in, we were both waist deep. He said, “Are you ready to walk on the water with me?” Like any mighty woman of faith, I answered, I don’t know Lord. He grabbed my hand and said come on. As we began to walk, I realize we were now on top of the water.

Walking on the water with Jesus is easy. You just have to keep moving, 1 foot in front of the other, when you think you cannot go on. “Come,”he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus (Matthew 14:29). Who or what are you following today, are you walking with purpose in every step? Divine encounters are everywhere, if you open your eyes to see. Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!”

The Lord open the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire (2 Kings 6:17). Lord open the eyes of your children, so they know they are never alone. Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again, he got up and was baptized (Acts 9:18). Lord remove the veil from them so men and women alike can discern and understand divine and spiritual things.

Open their heart of understanding, so they can know the truth written inside your book. Let them not be blinded by pride or arrogance. But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says. God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble (James 4:6). In his pride the wicked man does not seek him in all his thoughts there is no room for God (Psalm 10:4). Is there room in your heart for God, is it soft and tender toward him? Ask him to give you eyes to see, and ears to hear so that you may love him all the days of your life. But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, because they hear (Matthew 13:16).

Desire spiritual discernment above all else, and covet the nine gifts of the Spirit. And above all else, walk in the authority given you by the Father. Do not neglect the spiritual gifts you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you (1 Timothy 4:14).....
