From the stormy sea to the raging tornado, I have held you. Tucked safely in the Father’s embrace.
My love for you endures forever, it is perfect in every way. You cannot earn it, purchase it, or deserve it. God‘s love does not come with conditions like man’s love. He will not fail you, he never sleeps or slumbers. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Come drink from my living water, you will never be the same. Whoever believes in me as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them (John 7:38). But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:14).
So drink from my well of life, live in the shade of my love. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it (John 14:14). A prayer sent up in love, with a pure heart and unselfish motives; these are the things that catches the Father’s ear.
He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands (Job 22:30). Take it to the throne, and trust the Father to set you free....
