A Call to Arms by Tammy Lang Jensen
Tell my people time is ticking away, they must come to me now! Before long they will not be able to turn around and go back to where they came from. To return to their roots, to be anchored in Me. Their Savior, who is steadfast and securely devoted to them. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

He has purposed you for a time such as this, but you must hear and discern the call. A call to arms, I call to battle, a call to love his people. Above all love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). Many are the plans in a person‘s heart, but is the Lord‘s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, my purpose will stand and I will do all that I please. From the east I summon a bird a prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do (Isaiah 46:10-11).

Nothing will stand in my way, not man, not devil, not disaster. My plan shall stand firm forever. God can do all things, no purpose of his can be thwarted (Job 42:2). Not one of his words shall return to him void, not one of his servants will fail to be deployed. Shall you avoid my hand of judgment, shall my love in you prevail. I have placed within you the ability to make good choices that determine your future. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridal or they will not come to you (Psalm 32:9). Run willingly to the Father’s arms, rush openly to his embrace.

He is waiting for you, how long must you make him wait. Therefore, the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exults himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are those who wait for him (Isaiah 30:18). The Lord is singing over you, you are the apple of his eye. He will protect you from harm, he will go to bat for you. If you ascend to heaven, he is there! If you make your bed in Sheol, He is there! (Psalm 139:8). Not the heights of heaven, or the depths of hell can separate you from His love.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future— not even the powers of hell can separate us from God‘s love (Romans 8:38). A triple braided cord is not easily broken. Let the Lord be the divine third in your relationships today. And let the glory of the Lord rise upon you....
