I want you to be like the rock of Gibraltar. Strong, steadfast, looming, and intimidating in size. I want you to exhibit to the world the greatness of your God.
Know that the Lord himself is God; it is he who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pastor (Psalm 100:3). For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods (Psalm 95:3). It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command (Isaiah 45:12).
The mountains quake and tremble at my presence. I command the oceans to pull back from the boundary lines. I alone am God, and I will not be mocked. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). Whatever you put your hand to, this shall also return to you. If a man put his hand to evil, and sows discord among his breathern; this also shall return to him. But if a man places his hand to the plow. Sowing day and night in the harvest field of the Lord.
This also shall he reap. The Lord will open the windows of Heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain. The strongest umbrella will not be able to hold back the Glory Rain! Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37). I see a mist in the mountains and it is moving towards the towns. It is the glory cloud of the Lord. The misty weighty cloud of his presence. It will settle on those hungry for my presence, desperate for an encounter with God. Not those looking to religion and rituals to save them. But those looking to the cross, looking to Jesus. Prepare yourself my children, for I am surely coming.
Don’t be caught unaware like the five unwise virgins. But be like the five with their wicks trimmed and their lamps full of oil. For some reason I am hearing, “Every day is a winding road, get a little bit closer!” God is calling you in, to lean in, to press in. He says, “My sheep know my voice and a stranger they will not follow.” Do you know the voice of God? If not I encourage you to get quiet and listen for the whispers on the wind.
God is no respecter of persons. He says, Call to me and I will answer you, and teach you great and unsearchable things you know not of (Jeremiah 33:3). Ask for the big things, listen for the hard things. But most importantly, just call out to him today!...
