Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.
I personally have never had to worry about fulfilling this verse--the mail truck is filled with reminders every week of how "well" people are speaking of me! But I don't waste one second of my time concerned with what others think. We are here to honor God in all that we say and do until the time of His return; His approval is the only one that matters in this lifetime and the life to come.
Are you worried about what people are saying about you? You can avoid criticism by not saying or doing anything. But who wants to live a life like that?
You cannot make everyone happy all the time, and when you're busy trying to please everyone else, you are simply miserable. Stop it today in Jesus' name! Rise to the occasion and be what God wants you to be. You will draw closer to the your divine destiny while living a life filled with the joy of the Lord!
