“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
If good things come to those who wait, then great things are in store for those who are willing to persevere to the end.
Is today one of those days where throwing in the towel looks really good? Tie a knot in the end of your rope and hang on. Child of God, we are not promised that every day will be a walk through the rose garden of life. But we are promised that, as the Friend who sticks closer than any brother, He is the one to call on in our hour of great need.
Christ endured the cross. He endured the temptation to call 10,000 angels to rescue Him from the worst kind of torture any human could possibly imagine. That is how great His love is for you and for me. What are you enduring today? Know that a crown of life awaits those who are willing to finish the race!
Don’t get sidetracked! Don’t let Satan throw you off your game. If he can send you a problem big enough to deter your focus from the Lord, then he has won the battle. No matter your challenge, stay focused on the cross. It will be the moral compass that will guide and provide, leading you down the narrow path to life everlasting.
