If I ask you to take that first terrifying step with me, would you do it? As if falling from the ledge with no net in site.
Do you think an eaglet chick knows it can fly, the first trip out of the nest. Ultimately it trust it's mother, just as you need to trust the Father. Don't let your hearts be trouble. Trust in God, and trust also in Me (John 14:1).
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life (Psalm 143:8). Many a Christian vessel cry out, Father I have put my trust in you! And the first sign of struggle or trouble, they are headed for the door. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?
And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:22-23). How do we know the Father's heart, how do we make sure we don't get it wrong. Read your Bible, know the word, get quiet with God, and seek the Father's heart. In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God( John 1:1). For from the rising of the sun to it setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of host (Malachi 1:11).
The father has not changed what he expects. He expects to be honored from the rising of the sun each day, to the setting of it....He is all knowing, all consuming, and never changing. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows (James 1:17). I am he that liveth and was dead; And behold, I am alive forever more, amen; and have the keys of hell and of death (Revelation 1:18). He is handing out keys today, he is opening up doors, and giving revelation.
Will you show up and receive yours, or rollover and not awake.... and do this understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed (Romans 13:11). So then let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober (1 Thessalonians 5:6)....
