You will be saved by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony. Just as we bless, anoint and consecrate our place of worship. Should we not also anoint, bless, sanctify, and purify ourselves for God’s work. You shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him (Exodus 29:7). Is anyone among you sick?
Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord (James 5:14). Lord sanctified me, anoint me for your purpose. That I might be under the Oil and marked as HOLY WARRIOR. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.
He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. He deposited his tabernacle in you long ago. Dig deep in the recesses of your heart, there you will find the oil of gladness (Psalm 45:7).
But the anointing which ye have received of him abide in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in him (1 John 2:27). What shall we then say to these things? If Christ be for us and in us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).
To anoint is to set yourself in order for work. Are you living a consecrated life, are you spending the time necessary to be ready for what is coming. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). You are God‘s workmanship, his worker in the field.
Go about the business and making your Father proud. So when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground....HOLY WARRIOR, anointed and sanctified for use....
