Happiness Comes Through Death—Part Four by John Hagee

Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

Happiness Comes Through Death—Part Four by John Hagee
And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

Happiness Comes Through Death—Part Four
If we haven’t joined the family of God; if we haven’t believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted Him as our personal Lord and Savior, we’ll find ourselves spending eternity in a different place.

It is the place called hell…a place of such utter horror that we can scarcely make ourselves think of it.  It was set aside by God for those who reject Him as their Father and who reject Jesus as Savior and Lord.

An Inescapable Reality

“But I don’t believe in hell!”  You say.

Perhaps you don’t—but God does.  Jesus says those who don’t believe will not “escape being condemned to hell.”

Do I believe in a place called hell, with a literal, eternal, tormenting fire?  Yes, I do.  And I’m in good company.  Jesus believed in it, too.  He spoke of it often Matthew 5:22, 5:29, 13:41-42.

Every day of our lives, we live one breath away from eternity.  The most important question of life is:  Am I ready to meet God?

If you are not, and you wish to acknowledge God as your Father through His Son, Jesus Christ, just pray this simple prayer and you’ll become a member of the family of God, with heaven as your eternal home:

Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.  I believe that Jesus died for my sins.  I am willing to turn away from my sin and follow Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Amen.

At this moment, you have discovered the ultimate secret of being happy in an unhappy world.  It’s knowing that God is your heavenly Father, that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and that heaven is your eternal home!
