Endure To The End by Tammy Lang Jensen

I am taking my people on the narrow way. Even as you have continue on the journey with me, things have felt tighter and more pressed on every side. 

Will you endure to the end, will you turn sideways to squeeze through.

Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil! (Proverbs 4:25-27). Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21).

Consider your path carefully, take inventory of all your ways. Can you find the glory in it, can I be seen upon your face. Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1). Have you dulled your senses, have you hidden away. Are have you boldly declared: no matter what this trip holds, I’m in it, to win it! My brave and gallant warrior, mounted atop a fearless steed.

Charging into battle, sword drawn, shield raised. Trusting the one who sent you, surrendered to God on high. Not asking God what can you do for me, but asking the master, what can I do for you? A Warrior with fingers train for battle and a servants heart. Gifted with a delicate balance of a cry for war and a heart of compassion.

Not loving your own life unto death, but freely laying it down for me. The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Your life will have a beginning, and it will most certainly will have an end. My question is: “What are your plans for the in between?”....
