Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Love Begins With You.  If You Don’t Like Yourself, You Won’t Like Your Neighbor!  Learn To Love And Appreciate The Way God Made You!
Part Two—

The apostle Paul was a choleric.  He was strong-willed and hot-tempered.  When the high priest instructed someone close to Paul to slap him, Paul looked him in the eye and said, “God will strike you, you hypocrite!”  One time Paul was falsely arrested and placed in prison.  If you put a Roman citizen in jail falsely, you could have your head cut off.  When they found out that Paul was a Roman citizen as well as a Jew, they sent some junior official to set Paul free immediately.  When the junior official came traipsing down the hall with the jailhouse key, Paul said, “Don’t touch that lock.  You go get the mayor, the city council, all three TV stations and both newspapers and then come down here and make a formal apology when you let me out.”

Cholerics are quick, active, practical, independent, decisive and very opinionated.  They thrive on making things happen, they take bold stands on issues and crusade against social injustice.  They are not frightened by adversity; in fact, they enjoy a good fight.  Cholerics are born leaders with dogged determination.  Their weakness is that they don’t analyze and details bore them.  When they see a goal, they’ll run over people in their rush to get there.  They can be insufferably domineering.  But they make great executives, generals and leaders, and depending on their moral character, master criminals or dictators.
