James 1:25
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? A countenance full of hope, or one that seems hopelessly lost? As much as you try to be the general manager of the universe, the only thing you can change is you.
If you don't like the person in the mirror, adjust! But please know that you cannot change what you will not confront.
Are you having trouble pinpointing what exactly needs changing? Have you lost contact with yourself? Let me ask you this: How well are you hearing--and heeding--the Spirit? Is your time spent talking with your family members, or are you constantly in front of the TV? Do you meditate on God's Word, or do you spend your free time in the pool hall? Where you spend your hours is a direct reflection of who you are.
Are you always at the office, constantly shunning your responsibilities at home? If you win the rat race, it only means you're the number-one rat. Don't accept a lifestyle that compromises who God wants you to be. Stop living a tired life filled with depression, and start living life to the fullest! Put your hope in God! He is the only One in your life who cannot fail you.
