Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Take away hope, and life with all of its fascinating opportunities is reduced to a mere existence. Without hope, life is a burden, a never-ending treadmill of chaos.
People without hope often sink into depression, becoming filled with deep despair. Life turns meaningless because there's no difference from one joyless day to the next. If you are wear in well doing or life has become overwhelming, you can still have hope as a child of God. If your heart is broken, hope thou in God! If the fear of tomorrow has seized you, hope thou in God!
Begin to praise Him for the good things that are on the way, knowing that even if you can't see them from your human perspective, God is still on the throne and good things are coming. Remember, faith is starting out before you know how things are going to turn out.
