It had battle cries and embellishing all over it. It had been forged in fire, and tried in battle.
The shield of faith would not fail the warrior who carried it. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtain a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
By faith Able offered to God a more excellent sacrifice then Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, Enoch was a man that pleased God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. If you come to God, you must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:1-6). Have you diligently sought the Lord today? Have you laid down every worldly care to hear the Master’s voice. Faith without works is dead! Have you died to self, or has your faith died instead. In Mark 5:34 where the Lord says,”Daughter , your faith has made you whole; go in peace and be healed of your affliction.”
This woman only needed faith, the power to believe. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). I believe the word ALL is so important here, just as it is in Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. So as we pray, prophesy and encourage the body of Christ with faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love....
Don’t forget about the three letter word ALL...
Power over ALL tactics of the enemy, Faith will stop ALL flaming arrows. ALL day long the Lord is with you. ALL you have to do is believe....ALL
