Proverbs 26:2— Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.
Every Curse Has A Cause
Part One—
When someone speaks a curse, if you have a deficiency in your life, it will stick. But if you are covered by the blood of Jesus, it cannot. If you come under a curse, you need to examine why.
Here are some Bible reasons that curses exist in the lives of people. First, a father can place a curse on his family by participating in crooked business deals. Proverbs 17:13 says, “Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.” If a father returns evil for good, evil will stalk his children all the days of their life. In American history there have been several very rich and powerful tycoons who made their fortunes grinding the face of the poor. Their children grew up to have fame and power, but they lived in shame and tragedy that followed them doggedly all their days. If you, father, participate in crooked business deals and grind the face of the poor to gain your wealth, the judgment of God will be upon you and your children and your children’s children.
