Why does it seem to be, when we are caught doing something wrong, we have no defense. Could it be, that inherently we know right from wrong. That God wrote his laws on our heart long ago. This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their heart. I will be there God, and they will be my people (Jeremiah 31:33).
Is God really the Lord of your life? Are you letting him be in charge, run the show, drive the boat; or is he simply a passenger today. He is the Alpha and Omega, the great I Am, put him in his rightful place. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15). In that day, the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people (Isaiah 11:11).
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on the behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward him (2 Chronicles 16:9). God is looking for you today, God is looking for me today. Searching for those with a heart set toward him, longing to be good to us.
Do you have a made-up mind, have you chosen whom you will serve. Just say, Lord come into my heart, forgive me of my sins, I make you my Lord and Savior (Psalm 103:3)....
