Who Is Raising Your Children? by John Hagee
Ephesians 6:4 - And your, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

I read the story of a Father who was climbing a dangerous mountain with his son. The father said, "Son, be very careful We are coming to a very dangerous place." The boy replied, "Daddy, don't worry. I'm putting my feet where you put yours." Parents, your child is watching what you do, where you go, and what you say. And that's what they're going to do and say.

David failed as a father to Absalom, but heartache followed the entire family (2 Samuel 13-18). David repented of his sin and came home, but Absalom did not. I have seen that in families whom I pastor. The father comes to faith in Christ, but the children stay in their sin. Someone else raised David's children, but he paid the price. Who is raising your children? The day-care provider? A grandparent? Children are won by the time you invest in them. If you want to give them something special, give them yourself.
