Numbers 14:8 - If the Lord delights in us, He will bring us into this land and give it to us, "a land which flows with milk and honey."
God Alone Supplies Our Daily Needs
Self-made men and women often boast, "I make my own way." Get it straight. Only God sends the rain and sunshine that cause your food to grow. Only God gives life to the seed and the sower. the Bible says it is the Lord who gives you the power to breath, to think, to work, to move, to get well. That's the gift of God. You can do nothing alone. But when God is for you, who can be against you (Romans 8:31)? If God is for you, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
Remember that God's provision for the needs of your life is backed by His promise. David said, "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread" (Psalm 37:25). God's provision is for all your needs - your salvation, finances, home, healing from diseases, and deliverances from every form of addiction. Let faith explode in your soul. God wants to give these to you more than you want to receive them.
