Uncomfortable Situation by Pastor Mark Jensen
Good Morning friends and family, welcome to the beginning of a new week. A week where your today and your tomorrow has already been planned for you buy our Father in Heaven and He will guide you and direct you and lead you to where you are supposed to be, when you seek Him out.

It is my hope and prayer that each and every one of you had an amazing and blessed weekend and were able to spend some time with your friends and family and those that you love, including our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This morning I would like to talk with you about being uncomfortable. You know that feeling that you get when you are placed in a situation that you really don't feel good about. There will be times that we will find ourselves in an uncomfortable situation, and I don't know anyone who really enjoys that, but we have to remember, that God will allow us to go through an uncomfortable season to insure we are ready and prepared for the season that is coming.

The hardest thing I have learned as a Christian, as a Pastor, as a man of God, is to realize that everything that happens, everything I go through, is allowed by God. The same for each and everyone of you. Everything you go through whether by your own will or God's will, He allows, and we may not understand why, but He does. Now you need to realize, He will never allow you to go through anything that you cannot handle and He will insure you have everything you need to make it through that situation. We also need to remember that He will also give you everything you need to live an amazing life, to live a Godly life, to live the life He has planned for you, but that decision you have to make, no matter how uncomfortable it may become.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all thing that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:2-4 (NKJV)

Whenever you are facing an uncomfortable situation, an uncomfortable time in your life, always remember to seek God. He has all the answers, all the comfort, all the grace, all the love you will ever need to get through whatever you are facing. Place your trust fully in the Lord and you will never have to go it alone. You will always have Him in your corner, always by your side, always inside you. Where we are weak, He will make us strong. Even when it feels like everyone is against you, or you do not see any way out, or you just don't have the answers, look to the One who breathed life into you, look to the One who has already made a plan for your life, look to the One who does understand. I know that I struggle at times in not knowing all the answers or not being able to understand why this happened or that happened, and I admit, I get frustrated, not so much with God but with myself. I know we all wrestle at times with giving up control to God, but I have learned and continue to learn to place my trust in Him completely, at all times.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

We all need God in our lives, we all know that, but what we sometimes forget is that He will guide us, direct us, instruct us in everything we do, in our every day lives. Sure, we all want to believe we know what is best for us, our families, our future, but we need to release that control and place it in the hands of God. I know that there are times that God may instruct you or guide you to do something that doesn't seem natural to you or take a path that doesn't make sense, or make you feel uncomfortable, but that is when you have to have faith in the one who created you. Believe in your Father in Heaven to guide you, to direct you, to lead you down the path that he has already laid out for you for the plan that has already been written. There will be many times that you will not understand why things happen or why God is leading you in a direction you may not understand. That is when you have to remember to trust in Him and have Faith in Him. He knows the beginning from the end, don't you think He knows what your tomorrow will hold, according to His plans for you?

There are three words that I live by, that I speak quite a bit and I use at the end of each of my sermons. I believe these three words sum up what we all need to follow, need to believe, need to live by every day. I would like to ask each of you to think about them. How strong are they in your life?

Faith...Hope...Prayer

As I speak a blessing over each of you this day, always remember, we are here if you ever need to talk or get something off your chest or if you need prayer for yourselves, your family or your friends. Please do not hesitate to contact this ministry.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Dear Father God, thank you for blessing us with this day and loving each of us as Your children. We ask and pray that you watch over each and every one of us as we start each day, as we go through this week, keeping us in the palm of Your hand. We especially ask and pray that you watch over our children, that you keep them in the palm of your hand and keep them safe from the enemy and from society.

Guide each of us in our daily lives, directing us on the path You have planned for us, bringing forth the dreams you have planted in each of our hearts. Father God, we want to thank you for meeting us at the point of our needs and thank you in advance for always providing for us all that we need when we need it. We want to thank you for every blessing you will pour down upon us today, the ones we notice and the ones we don't. For we know who we are and whose we are, children of the most high God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

"Keep your Faith strong, your Hope alive and your Prayers never ending."

God Bless
Pastor Mark
