Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
The favor of God is a powerful, supernatural force that can move mountains of impossibility and make the sun not only stand still but reverse in its tracks. Jesus' name causes demons to tremble and the gates of heaven to swing open wide. So don't ever let anyone convince you that you are worthless, a nobody! You are blessed and highly favored of God, royalty in the kingdom of heaven. The favor of God is my destiny and yours, a destiny shared by every believer who follows the path of righteousness.
When you understand the favor of God, you can kiss your insecurity goodbye. Don't look at the circumstances. When God says you are favored, it doesn't matter what the outward appearance is.
Remember Joseph? He was thrown in a pit by his brothers and eventually ended up in prison. But the Word records that the favor of God was always upon him.
Stop looking at the pit and start looking at the palace. It's not what you're going through; it's WHO you're running to. You are blessed and highly favored of God. You have much to celebrate!
