Much of man's grief and disappointments come from his own carelessness with the life I give him. Running in circles, chasing things that do not matter. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).
Satan brings hate, offense, selfishness, greed, lust, perversion, indifference and ambition. How much or how little of this you pick up every day is up to you. Unpack your baggage, leave your junk at the feet of Jesus. He is the great burden bearer, when the load has become too heavy. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30)....
