Armed With The Word by Tammy Lang Jensen
Ever feel like you are on the enemies ship and have suddenly been found out as a Christian. Now hordes of demons are forcing you to walk the gangplank. Have no fear, your Savior walks on water!

Lord, if it’s you, Peter replied. Tell me to come to you on the water. Come, he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus (Matthew 14:28-29). When Jesus calls, it is important to move.

Will you die with your assignment inside of you. Will you cower inside, and claim you can’t swim, or will you boldly declare, Jesus if it is really you, call to me! Jesus is calling, are you responding. Saved by grace and faith, and armed with the word of God. In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). I keep hearing there is power in the name of Jesus. Break every chain, break every chain!

At the mention of His name, demons must flee. It does no good to send Satan running one day, and tomorrow invite him in. You need to be armed for battle and fighting every day. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Are you submitted, are you fully sold out, or does God daily catch you managing your own affairs, wrestling for control. The Bible says, the Lord determines our steps, will you be like a stubborn mule? Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridal to keep it under control (Psalm 32:9). Remain soft and usable, receptive to the nudge of the Holy Spirit. Do not let the evil of this world, make you hard and bitter.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2). Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:12). Therefore, as a good and perfect servant. Make sure you are pursuing Him, that He is not having to chase you. Run gladly to the arms of the Father, seek safety under His wings....
