What Are Powers and Principalities? by John Hagee

Ephesians 6:12-13 —We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

What are powers and principalities? These are spiritual powers in the heavens. Don’t believe in things you can’t see? Let me ask you a question: “Do you use electricity?”
What you do on the ground in prayer controls what happens in the heavens. The Word of God says this. All you need to do is ask in Jesus’ name and have faith the size of a mustard seed to watch the mountains of impossibility move in your life. If you don’t think this will work, I challenge you to give God a chance. Our God is an on-time God, and He is faithful to the last jot and tittle.

Put on the whole armor of God and plan to defeat any enemy. There has never been a servant of God in the history of the world who was disappointed at calling upon the Lord in his or her hour of need. You will not be the first.

Have you prayed once and nothing happened? Pray again! You don’t eat a great meal on Monday and then just give up eating until the weekend comes. You eat until your hunger is satisfied and then you come back and eat again. Pray until your hunger is satisfied, until your need is met. Fight to win! Don’t give up until God gives you His answer.
