As I closed my eyes I saw a woman standing on the shoreline. Giant waves were rolling in and slamming over her.
You could see she was crying and very weary with the storm. However, what I noticed was her stance never changed.
Head up, chin out, feet planet facing the waves head-on. She seem to have a righteous determination. Somehow knowing, even though it looked lonely on that beach, she was not fighting alone!
The Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2). Suddenly, I saw the father walking on the waves toward her. He was beckoning her off the shoreline and into the water with him.
She seemed apprehensive, but obeyed her Lord and Savior. As she reached him, he handed her a surfboard and she was able to float on top of the waves. Those things that are threatening to overtake you. Just change your perspective. Just one simple tool, given from the father‘s hand can be life changing. I recommend you start with the word of God and move out from there. The word that says, I will level mountains before you, I will never leave or forsake you. Do you trust God? Is today a day that you could be brave?
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day (Proverbs 4:18). Come live in the fullness of his light, come rest in His righteous right hand. Be upheld until you have become steadfast. Nothing missing, nothing lacking, your feet upon a rock. I have given you feet like hinds’ feet, to tread upon Mountain Heights. I will give you power, authority and dominion and nothing shall be impossible to you. For those that believe, you will uproot a mulberry tree.
For those that believe, you will cross the Red Sea. The ocean will become dryland beneath your feet. You are headed for greener pastures, you have come out of the valley of decision. Bags packed, mind made up with your destiny in sight....
