A Christian in Survival Mode by Tammy Lang Jensen

A Christian in Survival Mode by Tammy Lang Jensen
Are you a thriving Christian, or a Christian in survival mode? Standing with your back towards the wind, head bowed down, just trying to survive the storm.

I declare today is a new day in the kingdom of heaven.

The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter into the full light of day (Proverbs 4:18).

The glory of the Lord has risen upon you, and your kingdom assignment will be realized. As deep calls unto deep, so I am calling unto you. Wooing you back to me, enticing you with my steadfast love. Be strong and courageous.

Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). He will draw a safe boundary line for you, he will protect you from the storm. The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord (Psalm 31:24). Spread your wings, be ready to fly at a moments notice.

I am coming to rescue you. You will not leave in haste or running for your lives; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). Why do we worry and fret so, the God of the universe has our back. God has made you a fortified strong tower. You can weather any storm, you can persevere through any trial. Your feet are like Hinds feet, planted firmly upon the rock.

The joy of the Lord is our strength, the prayers of a righteous person a strong tower. So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). I see a line of Christians, driving the enemy back. Learning to walk in power and authority, learning to recognize their birthright.

Born to a King, ransomed by a Savior. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome ALL the power of the enemy; and nothing shall harm you (Luke 10:19). Rather you look to the left or the right, I will be there guiding you. Hold no worry in your heart for tomorrow, because I am already there waiting on you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20).

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). So the next time you hear thunder in the distance, say these words after me, “GOD’S GOT THIS!”....
