An Awesome Promise by Tammy Lang Jensen

When you lay down your life and pick up your cross, God has promises for you.

An Awesome Promise by Tammy Lang Jensen
Joseph I am bringing you a coat of many colors. Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors (Genesis 37:3).

When you wait on the promotion of God, and lay aside the promotion of man. When you lay down your life and pick up your cross, God has promises for you.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it (Matthew 16:25). What an awesome promise to be found in Christ. When you come to me, I will place a robe upon you. I will clean you up and dust you off. The Father dropped a word in my spirit. Regalia: The emblems or insignia of royalty, especially the crown, scepter, and other ornaments used at a coronation; ceremonial clothes of any office or order.

The Lord wants you to walk in power, authority, position, and your office with the enemy. To be suited up in your full armor, roar like a lion, and stand your ground. However, when dealing with his sheep. He wants you meek, mild, loving, and lowly in spirit or they will set their teeth against you. Like profane mockers at a feast, they gnash at me with their teeth (Psalm 35:16).

Now when they heard these things they were enraged and they ground their teeth at him (Acts 7:54). Will you come in with a sharp whip or a gentle hand. I am coming with judgment, and my children need correction; there is no doubt. But my hand holds the sickle, not yours. Allow me to separate the wheat from the tares.

Allow Holy Spirit to burn up that which does not belong. Time and time again, I have commanded: Turn from the world, and turn to Christ! I am an all consuming fire. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision (Joel 3:14). There are valleys and mountains tops in this season. Your ability to be in one or the other is relational to your ability to surrender.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2). So finally, think on things above, not things below....
