The Flesh Or The Devil by John Hagee
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Prophecy Should Be Judged By Scripture So That When An Utterance Is Given, It Can Be Known If It Is From God, The Flesh Or The Devil.

When TRUTH is denied, deception is released.

Jesus warned his disciples in Matthew 24, that deception would be the foremost sign of the end of the age.  He repeated that message three times in the same chapter.

False prophets and false prophecy abound in America today.  False prophecy can only lead into massive deception or leave a confused believer the object of manipulation or domination by false prophets who have ungodly motives and a hidden agenda.

Prophecy or Witchcraft?

Some prophets are claiming to be legitimate because “I’m right five out of ten times.”  Those averages would get you stoned to death in Israel in the times of the prophets.

Ignore all prophecy from anyone who does not operate under Spiritual authority!

Prophets are to be accountable to the fathers of the church.  Those who are not under such spiritual authority are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

All prophecy is to be submitted to judgment.

If there is no one to judge the prophecy, you should not have the prophecy.  Paul wrote in I Corinthians 14:29…”Let the prophets speak two or three and let the others judge.”

Prophecy is for believers only!

In the Old Testament prophecy was for nonbelievers but in the New Testament prophecy is for believers only.  Paul said, “…but prophesying serveth not for them that believeth not, but for them which believe” 1 Corinthians 14:22.
