They have gotten out of order and tried to run out ahead of me. Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horseman, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord (Isaiah 31:1).
The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord (Proverbs 21:31). The Lord has called us to the forefront for battle, and anointed us as thoroughbreds. But he reminds us that the ultimate victory comes from Him. Armies will rise, and armies will fall; but our Lord remains forever....
