This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
Praise be to the Lord Who is good and ready to forgive. He is abundant in mercy and loving kindness to all those who call upon Him showering them with His riches. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord is saved. For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might find salvation through Him.
I acknowledge and confess, out loud, that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead; therefore, I am saved. The Lord does not condemn me according to my sin because I reverently fear Him. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so is His great mercy and loving-kindness toward me.
I live and walk in the Light, just as He is in the Light, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses me from all sin and guilt. He saved me, not because of any works of righteousness that I have done, but because of His own grace and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth and renewing of the Holy Spirit. He did this that I might be justified by His grace and become an heir of eternal life according to my hope in Him.
