This morning I was taken to a vision that was a little scary an intimidating. I was sitting on a bench and it was dark all around.
There was a castle in the background, and dragons and slithering things on the ground. It was then I realized Jesus was sitting next to me. He said, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
About that time a dragon came up to us, took a breath, and from deep within his belly blew fire directly at us. Jesus simply lifted his hand and it was if it hit an invisible barrier. Not a hair on our head was singed, nor did we smell of smoke. Not by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). What is your faith in today? Yourself, your power, your money, or have you placed it totally and completely in God.
I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country (Leviticus 26:6). If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you (Exodus 23:22).
There is no opposition so great, that the Lord cannot overcome it. Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” (Mark 10:27). Time to destroy all the demons that torment your life. Take off their head and dig up the bitter root. The Lord says, “I will sever the head of the enemy!” All his plans will come to nothing. In that day, the Lord will punish with his sword-his fierce, great, and powerful sword-leviathan the gliding serpent, leviathan the coiling serpent; he will kill the dragon of the sea (Isaiah 27:1).
The Lord walks with you, he goes before you and he is your rear guard. So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6). For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and the powers of darkness. Your war is not with man, but with the enemy of your soul.
Take out your sword, which is the word of God; let’s do battle together....
